When Mr. Gopinath and his family first came to our Elephanto, they had just one heartfelt ask:
"We want a home that relaxes us the moment we step in. No bright colours, no loud patterns — just calm, subtle tones that soothe the eyes and the mind."
That one line shaped the whole project. From the TV unit to the kitchen drawers, every lil’ thing was made with subtle shades, soft shapes, and useful touches. This Perungalathur home turned into a quiet, luxurious place — real classy without screaming it.
Living Room – Subtle, Sleek, and Sophisticated
Like lots of folks, Gopinath’s family checked out different trending TV unit designs. But they were clear — nothing too bulky or fancy.

So we showed ‘em a curved-edge base unit with Champagne SF finish (Merino) matched with Authur Baltic Elm RH on top. Smooth corners, groove handles, warm tones — the whole setup looked clean and cosy.
Even the DB box got the same finish, so everything felt together. End result? A smooth and calm living space that didn’t try too hard, but looked just right.
Bedroom 02 – Bay-Seater Meets Smart Storage
This room had to work hard, more than just a place to sleep. We built a wardrobe with a built-in bay seater using two cool tones: Toned Blue SF and Champagne SF.
That piece wasn’t just for storage. It was a little reading zone, a quiet chill spot, and a big design statement. Profile lights added a soft glow, keeping things calm and neat.

Modular Kitchen – The Family's Favourite Space
Right from the start, Gopinath said:
"This kitchen is where we spend the most time. Let’s design it our way."
So that’s what we did. The kitchen had everything — looking good, working smart, and feeling like home.

We added:
English Ivy SF for base + loft units
Baltic Elm RH for wall units
Black matte handles for base units
Finger grooves on the loft and wall shutters
Tandem drawers, wicker baskets, pull-outs, cutlery trays
Blind corner shelves, open boxes, and a tall unit with glass
Soft warm profile lights made the whole space glow gently. Every drawer and shelf was custom-made based on how the family actually used it. From spice jars to hidden appliances — it was all thought out. This kitchen? It became the soul of the home.
Master Bedroom – Space-Saving Elegance
This one had a challenge — lots of storage, but don’t make it look bulky. Sliding wardrobes were the perfect call. We used Champagne SF for the main panels and Baltic Elm RH for the loft area.
Gopinath wanted privacy and neatness, so we included locking drawers and hidden spaces inside. He said:
"Every morning, I need to see a clean, organised setup."
So we gave him just that — drawers, hanger space, top shelves — all neatly done. The room stayed open, peaceful, and clutter-free.
Pooja Unit – A Sacred Corner with Timeless Charm
The family wanted something spiritual but simple. We designed a pocket-door pooja unit in Baltic Elm RH with CNC-cut work — a nice blend of modern and traditional.
Gopinath said:
"I love how the wood feels traditional, but not heavy."
It had drawers, a granite base for the deity, and soft lighting that made it feel peaceful. A corner of calm, right in the heart of the home.
Kids' Bedroom – Where Design Meets Delight
Here’s where it got playful.
"We want our child to love their space — to learn, sleep, and play all in one place."

We used Lavender SF and Twilight SF finishes — soft and kid-friendly. The cot had hidden storage with a hydraulic lift-up, so the kiddo could grab toys or books easily.
The study table had it all — drawers, keyboard tray, shelf ledge. The wardrobe came with open boxes, drawers, and shelves for display. This room wasn’t just cute — it worked hard and made space for fun.
Interior Design Journey – From Vision to Tranquillity
This home in Perungalathur shows how luxury interior design in Chennai can be soft, calm, and personal. No show-off stuff — just clear choices and kind touches.
At Elephanto, we didn’t just make interiors. We took a dream and turned it real. From the rounded TV unit to the lavender study desk, every single bit was made with heart.
If you want a home that fits your vibe and still feels practical, let’s talk. That’s how Gopinath’s story started — and look where it ended.
