Services and brought out products supplied by Elephanto Decor Pvt. Ltd. Aren't covered under Elephanto Decor Pvt. Ltd. quality promise ๐ซ. All registered Service Partners go through intensive quality and background checks ๐.
Guarantees and warranties, if any, are directly provided by Service Partners for services and products issued by them ๐งพ. All invoices for the goods and services provided by way of the registered Service Partners, excluding design and project management cost, shall be issued by them directly to the clients ๐ฅ.
Elephanto shall not be held liable in any event โ, as we act solely as a consultant ๐ง๐ผ. We are not responsible for any service partner’s commitment/ guarantee/ warranty or any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive or consequential damages and quality issues โ ๏ธ. Brought out products:
All furniture, decor, appliances and add-ons which belong to the Elephanto Decor Pvt. Ltd.'s brand partners are called brought out products ๐๏ธ.
๐ Quality Promise:
Elephanto Decor Pvt. Ltd. promises to delivery each project with a premium design experience ๐. Multiple quality check at every stage of process, we proudly ensure all our products are free from any material and manufacturing defects โ .
๐ Cancellations & Return:

At design stage: Any product in the tentative BoQ can be replaced or eliminated while you're still discussing designs with our team i.e., before order placement. Elephanto Decor Pvt. Ltd. cannot cancel, update, or replace items once the order is placed Since each object is made to order.

Products with non-manufacturing defects and damages post-delivery are not eligible for returns or replacements.

The returns policy is not applicable to services, customised ,products and made-to-order furniture pieces.
๐ผ Financial Services:
Elephanto Decor Pvt. Ltd. only facilitates loans and services ๐ณ. Approval, processing and terms are at the sole discretion of the financial entity ๐ฆ.
โ๏ธ Governing Law, Jurisdiction and Dispute Resolution:

In the event of any dispute between the Parties under the Client Service Agreement, the Parties shall first try to treat the identical amicably thru mutual discussions/negotiations. In case, the parties are not able to treat the disputes amicably within 30 (thirty) days from the date of the notification of the dispute via one party to the other, the same shall be referred to Arbitration for decision.

The Arbitration proceedings shall be conducted in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996 or any enactment or modification thereof for the time being in force and its decision shall be final and binding. The venue of arbitration shall be Chennai and the proceeding shall be held in English Language only. The award passed by the arbitrator shall be final and binding on both the Parties.

The cost of arbitration shall be borne by both the parties equally.

This Agreement will be governed by Laws of India and this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Chennai.
๐งพ Invoicing:
Invoices for design services, products, and other services will be raised by Elephanto Decor Pvt. Ltd. Invoices for branded products will be issued by the respective seller/distributor ๐งพ. For queries, contact your Elephanto representative.
โ๏ธ Delay Penalties:
Elephanto will be liable to pay a delay penalty of โน500 per day ๐ธ for handovers delayed beyond 15 working days (excluding Sundays and public holidays) from the confirmed handover date ๐.

Delay penalty applies only if all Elephanto Delivery Guarantee norms are fulfilled ๐.

The maximum penalty cannot exceed 3% of the total project cost.

The penalty will be refunded to the client's bank account ๐ณ, provided 100% payment has been made as per the schedule and project handover is complete.
๐๏ธ Modular Delivery & Warehousing:
For projects that include only modular products, clients may be asked to confirm the delivery date ๐ based on site readiness.Once services are complete and the final payment is made โ , the material will be dispatched.If the site is not ready, material may be stored for up to 10 days at no charge. After that, warehousing costs of โน500/day ๐ข will apply until dispatch.
๐ Order Placement Stage:
At this stage, orders for Elephanto Decor Pvt. Ltd. furniture and decor items ๐ช are placed, and market-sourced products are shipped to the warehouse ๐ฆ to prepare for onsite delivery. Civil work and manufacturing of custom fixtures may be initiated based on the defined execution stages. ๐จ Please note: All work specific to an order will commence only after 50% payment is processed.
** Will be informed within 5 days of placing the order depending on the scope of work.
** Non-modular, civil, and other custom work timelines may vary.
๐ Delivery Time:
The project will be delivered on or before the informed date after completion of design and successful agreement sign-off. This excludes cases where any changes are made to the order or scope of work after confirmation, or due to circumstances beyond Elephanto Decor Pvt. Ltd.'s control โ ๏ธ.
๐ Quote Validity:
The initial estimate issued at the 10% stage is valid for 60 days โณ. If the project does not move into execution within this period, the estimate may change.
Please note that the value quoted in the proposal is valid for 15 days ๐๏ธ. Costs may vary if booking is done later. Any changes (including modifications in scope or requirements) may change the quote value. The prices are applicable only for this project.
๐ Estimated Task Quote:
The initial quote is indicative and generated based on the current scope and requirements. If the estimate is affected by the design, product, materials, colours ๐จ and services you choose, the initial quote is subject to change. For better clarity on the budget ๐ฐ, we recommend staying in touch with our design team or a dedicated designer assigned to your project.
๐ฆ Execution Stage:
The execution stage is organized to help track the progress of your order with clarity and transparency. Each stage illustrates the completion of a key milestone ๐ ๏ธ, at which point the balance payment for that specific order type becomes due. Elephanto Decor Pvt. Ltd. will proceed with the remaining scope of work only after the payment corresponding to the current execution stage has been received. ๐ This defines the execution stages for each type of order.
๐ Booking Rate:
Your booking fee of 10% will be adjusted against your booked order value ๐ผ. If the scope of the order increases, the client is required to pay 10% for the new scope before the design is started ๐จ.
๐ Refunds:
Once the project is confirmed by the respective client, a 72-hour cooling-off period ๐ง will be provided, during which the client may choose to withdraw from the project. After this period, a refund will not be applicable. If a refund is applicable, the payment will be processed within 5 working days ๐๏ธ from the date of cancellation.
๐ Project and Order:
A project refers to a home interior design assignment. Under one project, multiple orders can be placed (e.g., modular products as an order ๐๏ธ & civil services as a separate order ๐งฑ). The payments are taken per order, not for the whole project. ๐ Minimum value of INR 1 lakh shall be executed by Elephanto.
๐งพ Payment Terms for Elephanto's Projects:
Based on the scope of work, a project can have multiple order types (e.g. 1 project can have multiple orders like modular work ๐๏ธ, on-site services ๐งฑ, and takeout ๐). Payment terms vary based on the project level.
** EDM needs to be paid on total order cost.
